Description
The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of contractors who have the capabilities to complete a project of similar magnitude and scope. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In order to be considered for award, your firm must be registered and active in the System for Award Management. Further instructions and information can be found at SAM.gov PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Germany, Belgium, and Italy ANTICIPATED PROJECT TITLE: DHA Minor Construction Simplified SATOC ACQUISITION INFORMATION: USACE NAU anticipates soliciting and awarding a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) Design-Build (DB) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to provide quick response for facility repair, renovation, conversion, alteration, additions, construction, the procurement/installation of equipment for minor construction, in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) facilities in Germany, Belgium, and Italy. The anticipated period of performance of the base contract is three (3) base years with two (2) 12-month option periods and one (1) 6-month option periods per FAR 52.217-8. Currently, the Government intends to issue the solicitation in March 2026 and anticipates contract award in September 2026. Interested parties will be afforded an opportunity to visit the site at a pre-proposal conference (to be announced). The anticipated project cost of each task order under this SATOC is between �100,000 and �5,000,000. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT: If you are interested in this project, please submit the following items listed below no later than time and date specified in SAM.gov. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Include CAGE code and UEI number from the company�s SAM registration. Capabilities Statement (including at minimum the information below): Evidence of bonding capability: Name of Surety, Single and Aggregate Contract Amounts Firm�s capability to perform contract(s) of this magnitude and complexity within the past six years to include the following information: Brief description of projects to include location (no more than five projects) Customer name Timeliness of performance Customer satisfaction Dollar value of the project Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities Statement. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this Sources Sought announcement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Responses to this Sources Sought is NOT intended to be a Request for Proposal nor Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It is to request statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Submission of Capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the USACE NAU in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This Sources Sought is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
