Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District performs maintenance dredging at several commercial and recreational harbors on Lake Ontario. Historically, this work has been done by companies mobilizing from the Upper Great Lakes. For the smaller recreational harbors, it is not always cost effective to mobilize equipment from the Upper Great Lakes, especially if there is not funding to combine several recreational harbors on Lake Ontario. This sources sought notice is targeting companies that routinely perform maintenance dredging on Lake Ontario. If your company has recent dredging experience on Lake Ontario and is interested in performing maintenance dredging for the US Army Corps of Engineers on Lake Ontario, request you provide the following: 1. Company Name, Point of Contact, and Contact Information. If registered at SAM.gov, also provide your UEI number. 2. Descriptions of up to 5 recent dredging projects on Lake Ontario. 3. Equipment used on these 5 projects. 4. Additional equipment available for maintenance dredging. This information is for market research only. This is not a request for proposal and no costs will be paid for this information.
