Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide the Government s response to questions from Industry as a result of Solicitation 36C10X26R0019 for NX EQ Combi Oven: QUESTIONS AND ANDREWS Q1. I am reaching out in regard to solicitation 36C10X26R0019 for the combi ovens. We are able to meet the specifications with a few different manufacturers. I was wondering if we are permitted to submit multiple bids for this requirement. GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Vendors are permitted to submit multiple offers if proposing products from different manufacturers, provided that each offer is complete and meets all solicitation requirements and specifications. Please ensure each proposal is clearly labeled and submitted in accordance with the instructions outlined in the solicitation. Q2. Please clarify whether or not offerors need to submit the Salient Characteristics Chart and literature if they are offering the brand name specified. I think VA only wants the chart and literature for or equal items but want to clarify. GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: All vendors, including those offering the brand name Rational iCombi® Pro Combi Ovens, are required to: Provide descriptive literature that will be used to evaluate whether their proposal meets the Salient Characteristics (SCs). Complete the highlighted area on the SCs Chart located in the solicitation, listing the location where compliance with each SC can be found. Include the completed SCs Chart in their submission. Offers missing this chart will not be considered for award. Basically, this means that even brand name offers must submit the SCs Chart and supporting literature showing how their product meets each salient characteristic. Q3. For Attachment A price spreadsheet, please confirm the number the government wants us to enter in column Q. For example, should clin 0001 cell Q2 = 6? And should clin 0001AH cell Q10=12? GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Unit of Measure (UOM) is Each , therefore the quantity per UOM will remain as 1 .
