Description
The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions submitted. The Performance Work Statement has been updated based in addition to answers to submitted questions. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged with all final offers by 10:00am EST Monday on June 29, 2026. Offers shall be emailed to Crystal Volmar at crystal.volmar@va.gov Answers To Questions Submitted Performance Metrics and Uptime Guarantees Please note that STERIS standard terms and conditions do not include Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or uptime guarantees. STERIS is committed to delivering high-quality products and services, and performance expectations are incorporated within our standard terms and conditions. These terms include warranties covering parts and workmanship, providing assurance regarding the reliability and performance of STERIS equipment and services. Additionally, STERIS offers remote monitoring capabilities through our Total Care Connect program. This service enables proactive equipment oversight and supports performance optimization and issue identification throughout the term of the applicable agreement. Answer - SLCVA agrees with current Steris standard. Remote Monitoring Availability The solicitation indicates that remote monitoring will be available for all equipment on a 24/7 basis. We would like to clarify that remote monitoring is only available for equipment with connectivity capabilities. The following equipment is not connectable and therefore cannot be remotely monitored:, but is available on the ConnectCare platform:� Warming Cabinets Prep & Pack Tables InnoWave Eco Answer - SLCVA agrees with current Steris standard. Response Time Requirements We also noted the requested response times of a 30-minute phone response and a 4-hour on-site response. STERIS is unable to accommodate these response requirements. Our standard service response commitments are: Phone response: 4 hours On-site response: 48 hours Answer - SLCVA agrees with current Steris standard. Inspection Frequency for Single Chamber Washers The solicitation references four (4) inspections per year for single chamber washers. We would like to note that STERIS's sole-source recommendation for this equipment is four inspections annually. For your reference, we have attached the applicable Sole Source letter. To ensure accurate pricing, please advise whether you would like to proceed with the standard two (2) inspections per year or if you would like to include the recommended four (4) inspections annually, as additional inspections will impact pricing.
