Description

The NDIA Michigan Defense Exposition (MDEX) and Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry will be held in person May 1214, 2026. For 2026, MDEX is co-located with XPONENTIAL (AI, Autonomy, and Robotics Conference) at Huntington Place, Detroit. Now in its 17th year, the event spans three action packed days, bringing together leaders and representatives from across all our DTA Mission Partners, academia, industry, and other key players in the defense industry. Attendance provides a good opportunity to network and receive informational briefings on our business from a variety of perspectives. Some of the features include: Events: Dynamic exhibits, thought-provoking briefings, and unparalleled networking opportunities. Cutting-Edge Exhibits: Explore innovative technologies and solutions from leading companies across the defense sector. Focused Matchmaking: Facilitate meaningful connections with organizations that align with your business objectives. While there are many engagements worth highlighting (see attached agenda), the panels that include representation from our own DTA leadership include: Tuesday, May 12. Detroit Arsenal Leadership Panel & OIB Modernization: Strengthening the Armys Industrial Base Core. Wednesday, May 13. CPE Ground / ACC-DTA: Mission, Vision, Current and Future Requirements & From Global Markets to U.S. Missions: Partnering Across Borders in Defense Panel. Thursday, May 14. CPE Combat Logistics / ACC-DTA: Mission, Vision, Current and Future Requirements & Bridging Commercial Innovation and Defense Needs. GENERAL INFORMATION MDEX is open to the entire local ACC-DTA workforce and theres no cost to attend. Attendance must be approved by your supervisor in advance. You can choose to take a NDIA MDEX provided shuttle to the event from TACOM for free or use a personal method of transportation at your own expense. Shuttle pick-up details are forthcoming. There are three parking locations at the event location. We recommend pre-paying for parking through Parkwhiz (additional information attached). The MDEX pass provides access to XPONENTIAL Keynotes @ 9am each morning, the entire expo hall, the defense theater, and training classrooms. REGISTRATION STEPS If you HAVE attended MDEX in the past, you must register via: https://mdex-ndia.com/2026-registration/ .
