Notice Type: Sources Sought Title: Small Air Mobile Shelters Response Date: 17 July 2026 at 1:00 PM CDT NAICS Code: 332311 Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing Product Service Code (PSC): 5450 Miscellaneous Prefabricated Structures This is a Sources Sought notice issued for market research and planning purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government. No award will be made as a result of this notice. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify qualified and capable Small Businesses (including 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Businesses) that can provide Small Air Mobile Shelters meeting the specific technical requirements outlined below. Technical Specifications The Government requires Small Air Mobile Shelters that meet the following minimum specifications: Dimensions & Structure Dimensions: At least 91" Height x 88" Width x 108" Length. Pallet Size: Single Pallet size (approximately 90"x90"x108"). Design: Non-expandable, no windows. Material: Aluminum. Door: Single door, at least 33"W x 72"H. Handling: Forkliftable from all sides. Weight Limit: Total payload/item weight must not exceed 10,000 lbs max. Tie-Downs: Requires 4 external tie-downs (1 per corner) and 12 internal tie-downs. Leveling: 2,500 lb leveling jack kit included. Power, Climate Control & Lighting Power Input: 120/208VAC, 3-Phase, 60Hz. Power Outlets: Minimum of four (4) outlets located on the interior wall. Surge Protection: Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor (TVSS) unit required. Lighting: LED lighting required, minimum 322 Lumens. Climate Control: 42,000 BTU/hr Environmental Control Unit (ECU). The system must operate at moderate temperatures in diverse environments. Insulation & Ventilation: The shelter does not need to be insulated but must accommodate ventilation based on the ECU type. Valves: Decompression breather valve. Safety, Security & Communications Door Lock: High-security Kaba Mas CDX-10 door lock. Safety Kit: Must include a fire extinguisher, flashlight, and first aid kit. Communications: Communications panel required. Capability Statement Requirements (Submission Instructions) Interested Small Business vendors who believe they can provide the products described above are invited to submit a Capability Statement. Vendors must submit the following information to demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements: Company Profile: Company Name, physical address, and website. SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) and CAGE Code. Primary Point of Contact (Name, Title, Email, and Phone Number). Business Size & Socio-Economic Status: State your business size under the applicable NAICS code. Indicate any applicable socio-economic designations (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB). Technical Capability: A brief narrative, spec sheet, or commercial brochure demonstrating that your proposed product can meet or exceed all the technical specifications listed. If your product requires slight modifications to meet the exact requirements (e.g., adding the Kaba Mas CDX-10 lock or the specific tie-down configuration), explain your capability to modify existing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) items. Manufacturing / Lead Time: Estimated production or delivery lead times for the requested shelters. Response Guidelines Capability statements should be limited to no more than 5 pages, excluding generic commercial brochures or spec sheets.
