Description
Project Title: XTLF 25-1023 Repair Roof F542Project Location: Vance AFB, Enid Oklahoma Notice to offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. Once funds are available, bid guarantee will be required before award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any cost. The work will include a full roof replacement of F542 to include all gutters and downspouts. Additionally, the repair of cracked brick face will be accomplished through the creation of an expansion joint at the northeast and northwest face of the building to prevent further water damage to these wall faces. The current edge and ridge conditions are being kept watertight through repeated application of liquid flashing. The field is faring better; however, due to remediation efforts at the edges, the field is exhibiting signs of aging at a rate faster than expected. Accelerated degradation due to improper system installation along with historical remediation tactics will require greater maintenance investment with no guarantee of a positive return. This solicitation is a 100% HUBZone Set-aside.
