Description

Golden Gate National Cemetery Grounds Maintenance Services -- S208 The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Pacific District Contracting Office is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for contractors to provide Grounds Maintenance Services. The NCA wants to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 561730 Landscaping Services with size standards of $9.5 Million. Note that if VA�s pending market research establishes that two or more SDVOSB or VOSB, who are certified on SBA, Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov), can perform the project at a fair and reasonable price, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. �8127. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis, a solicitation announcement will be published on SAM.gov. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The basic service objective is to maintain the cemeteries� esteemed grounds with care resulting in aesthetically pleasing landscape, care for burial sections, and memorial sites to honor those who have served our nation. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision of its employees to perform the service requirements under this contract for Golden Gate National Cemetery. Service requirements include: � Headstone Services � Gravesite Maintenance � Turf and Grasses Maintenance � Tree, Shrub, Planting, and Bed Maintenance � Irrigation System Services � Drainage System Maintenance � Trash & Debris Removal � Pavement Sweeping and Cleaning � Structure Cleaning and Light Maintenance � Ceremonies Assistance PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Golden Gate National Cemetery, 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, CA 94066. The intent of NCA is to establish a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivering Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a base year and two (2) option periods with the Governments� discretion to exercise.
