Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) � Healthcare Contracting Division - South (HCD-S) intends to award a sole source requirement for BenchMark ULTRA PLUS systems and reagents at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) 96th Medical Group at Eglin, Florida, to Roche Diagnostics Corporation (Cage Code: 51169) located at 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256 under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 8.4 and General Services Administration Regulation (GSAR) 538.7104-3(b)(ii): Only One Responsible Source. Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; the business size standard is 1,000 Employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6630, Chemical Analysis Instruments This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Notice. A determination by the Government to continue with a sole source action, or to issue a competitive solicitation, will be made based on any responses received to this notice, and will be made solely at the Government�s discretion.
