Description
The Government requires off-site storage/retrieval and transportation services for various forms of computer data storage media including magnetic tape, data cassettes, and other media in locked containers provided by the vendor. The off-site storage must be a bona fide, qualified electronic computer media storage sites in compliance with GSA/Federal Specifications and industry standards for the storage and protection of magnetic computer media against fire, physical intrusion, magnetic field interference, and other normal hazards. The vendor must provide secure storage services for all three Administrative Offices of the United States Courts (AOUSC) data centers: Ashburn, VA, El Segundo, CA, and Washinton, DC. The Contractor�s East Coast facilities should be located no less than 30 miles and not more than 75 miles from both the Ashburn, VA, IDC and Washington, DC, IDC, and are required to be located outside of the electromagnetic exposure radius of a device detonated in the Washington, D.C. area. The Contractor must ensure delivery of tapes within 4 hours of a request. The Contractor�s West Coast facilities should be located no less than 30 miles and not more than 75 miles from the El Segundo, CA, Internet Data Center to ensure delivery of tapes within 4 hours of a request.
