Description

Building 5 Halls and Walls. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to complete the demolition of existing flooring, floor preparation and replacement flooring. Wall covering removal, replacement wall covering, provision of Acrovyn wall protection and corner guards and paint. Removal of existing handrails/crash rails and replacement. Renovation and provision of new finishes for museum display cases. Demolition of existing doors and replacement of fire doors and office doors. Provision of and installation of new ceiling grid and ceiling tiles. All work shall be performed in Building 5 at the VA Sioux Falls Health Care System, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, electrical, necessary demolition and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number 36C26319B0003 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about March 20, 2019. This solicitation will contain all necessary Scope of Work, specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled for the week of April 1-5, 2019. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location). Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on or about April 25, 2019 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/location of public bid opening). The Period of Performance is expected to be 390 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice-To-Proceed (NTP). THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.00.
