NIWC Atlantic Rapid Capabilities Cell Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N8 Industry Engagement Session: Accelerating Efficiency through AI & Automation Special Notice: 26-A007 The Office of the Chief of Naval Operations is inviting members of the investment and private sector innovation communities to participate in an industry engagement event thru the NIWC Atlantic Rapid Capabilities Cell (RCC) in Arlington, VA on July 28 & 29, 2026. This two day NIWC Atlantic RCC event will include a kick off session that will cover the OPNAVs most pressing financial management challenges and one on one industry demonstrations of capability to address these needs. July 28, 2026 RCC Kick Off Event Industry Day 0730 to 1030 EST | Arlington, VA Keynote Speaker: Vice Admiral John B. "Brad" Skillman, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations Integration of Capabilities and Resources, N8 Participants: OPNAV and Industry Representatives Classification Level: UNCLASSIFIED Industry One on One Quick Synch Session (Registration required for 10 Minute Quick Sync Sessions) 1100 to 1700 EST | Arlington, VA Participants: OPNAV and Industry Representatives Classification Level: UNCLASSIFIED July 29, 2026 Industry One on One Capability Demonstrations (Invitation Only for 30 Minute Demonstrations) 0900 to 1700 EST | Arlington, VA Participants: OPNAV and Industry Representatives Classification Level: UNCLASSIFIED The NIWC Atlantic RCC welcomes existing and new industry partners, with limited Government contracting experience, without prejudice. Potential partners with strong technical competence in their particular field may be successful with a high willingness to learn. **Please read the attached full announcement for additional details and registration information.** Follow-on Interaction The NIWC Atlantic RCC anticipates subsequent opportunities for one-on-one conversations with industry partners to explore relevant capabilities in more detail at later dates; however, those follow-on programs, schedules, and timelines are in development and subject to change. These events will also be subject to the disclaimer detailed at the end of this special notice. Any additional opportunities to engage with RCC will also be announced via SAM.gov. Participation in this event is not required for future participation in those events or other related activities. Registration 1. RCC Industry Day This event is UNCLASSIFIED and is open to all industry representatives. ATTENDEES MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: HOLD CITIZENSHIP IN THE US REPRESENT A COMPANY HEADQUARTERED IN US 2. RCC One on One Session Audio or visual recordings of any kind are prohibited. On-site Visitors must also present one of the identifications listed below for entry: REAL ID-compliant driver's license. Valid U.S. Passport or Passport Card. Valid U.S. Government Common Access Card (CAC), U.S. Military Identification Card, Personal Identification Verification Card, or Military retiree or Dependent ID card. Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551). Companies interested in participating in this industry Exchange are encouraged to review the attached problem statements and submit a one consolidated capabilities statement to Maryam.B.Atkins.civ@us.navy.mil no later than July 8, 2026. The Government will provide confirmation and additional logistical information to attendees via email within five (5) business days of the event start.
