This is a Request for Information only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement or a request for quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be in writing and include a capabilities statement to Contracting Specialist Zach Whiting, Zachary.Whiting2@va.gov, no later than Monday 03/30/202 at 6:00am EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. **This is not a full statement of work but should allow vendors to determine if they are able to perform services of this size and scope. General The Department of Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System (VA NYHHS) requires a qualified firm with the capability and capacity to provide Sunni Muslim chaplaincy services for Muslim Veterans who specifically request faith-based spiritual care, from the base year of award through four (4) option years. Services shall include telephone triage and in-person spiritual care visits, with an estimated level of effort of approximately 4 to 4.5 hours per week, inclusive of direct patient counseling and related documentation. Services shall be performed at the following locations: Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus in Manhattan 423 East 23rd Street New York, NY 10010-5011 Brooklyn VA Medical Center 800 Poly Place Brooklyn, NY 11209-7104 St. Albans VA Medical Center (St. Albans Community Living Center) 179-00 Linden Boulevard Queens, NY 11424-1468
