PORTER COUNTY STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS - SECTION 219, VALPARAISO, PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA (USACE ACQUISITION)

Description

Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P620B0006 for bidding purposes. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, "Porter County Storm Sewer Improvements �Section 219, Valparaiso, Porter County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition)." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to improvements of approximately 800 linear feet of channel improvements for the roadside ditch, from the existing confluence with Squirrel Creek to the proposed drop structure/relief sewer to the South Haven Elementary School (SHES) flood storage facility. The channel improvements would be provided to increase conveyance and eliminate the need for 54-inch storm sewer along the entire stretch of McCool Road. Construction will also include approximately 1,200 linear feet of 54� relief sewer extending from the limits of the roadside ditch (southwest of the intersection of McCool Road and Midway Drive) to the South Haven Elementary School (SHES) flood control basin (constructed by others). The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237110, with a small business size standard in dollars of $39.5 Million.
