REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) � MARKET RESEARCH ONLY 1. Purpose This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for market research and planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This notice: - Is NOT a solicitation - Does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) - Does NOT obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract Responses are voluntary and will be used to determine acquisition strategy, including potential small business set-aside decisions. 2. Requirement Overview The Government is seeking information from qualified vendors for the following: Project Area: Federal Bureau of Prisons Reentry Services Division (RSD)/Education Branch Objective: The FBOP is seeking a computer based- test (CBT) designed for the evaluation of comprehensive battery tests in the following areas: cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and oral language skills. 3. Set-Aside Market Research The Government is conducting market research to determine the availability of capable small business concerns and to support a potential set-aside decision in accordance with FAR Part 19. 4. Information Requested from Industry (available in attached document for responses) Company Information: - Company name - UEI number - Business size and socio-economic status - Primary NAICS code - SAM registration status Capability Statement: - Relevant experience performing similar services - Description of technical capabilities Acquisition Feedback: - Recommended contract type - Suggested NAICS code - Comments on industry standards or risks - Rough order of magnitude pricing information 5.
