The Government will not pay for any information solicited.� The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, is conducting market research for an acquisition to provide parking attendant services and shuttle transportation across three Fayetteville VAMC locations at 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The Fayetteville VAMC seeks a contractor to provide parking attendants and shuttle services for a base period with three one year option periods. Description of Requirement: Locations and Responsibilities Services will be required at the following facilities: Fayetteville Health Care Center (HCC), 7300 South Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304 Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 Wilmington Health Care Center, 1705 Gardner Road, Wilmington, NC 28405 The contractor shall be fully responsible for issuing parking claim checks, securing and parking vehicles, retrieving vehicles, and directing designated valet related traffic within the parking attendant service areas. Fayetteville HCC Approximately 170 patient vehicles are parked daily at this location. The contractor shall own and maintain two shuttle carts to transport Veterans between the Health Care Center and designated parking areas. Shuttles must operate continuously during normal business hours. Drivers must courteously greet all passengers. The contractor is responsible for all shuttle maintenance and must follow all applicable safety procedures. Fayetteville VA Medical Center Approximately 100 patient vehicles are parked daily. The contractor shall own and maintain two shuttle carts operating in a continuous loop around the medical center grounds, stopping at designated shuttle points. Shuttle stop locations will be determined by Health Administration Service and Facilities Management. Drivers must appropriately greet all passengers. The contractor is responsible for shuttle maintenance and safe operation at all times. Wilmington Health Care Center Approximately 75 patient vehicles are parked daily. The contractor shall own and maintain one shuttle cart operating continuously during normal business hours in a loop around the facility, stopping at designated points. Shuttle stop locations will be set by Health Administration Service and Facilities Management. The contractor is responsible for maintenance, safe operation, and appropriate customer service by drivers. Hours of Operation: Services will be provided Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding Federal holidays or days declared by the President. Peak patient flow periods typically occur from 7:30 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 2:00 p.m. Limited service may be required during special events occurring on Federal holidays. When a holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed the following Monday; if it falls on Saturday, it is observed the preceding Friday.
