Sources Sought/Request for Information Title: E-6 Portable Automated Test Set (PATS)70-A Fuel Quantity Indicating System (FQIS) Build-to-Print Kits This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services contained in this notice. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any information/items submitted in response to the RFI. No determination as to the viability of this potential requirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for this effort. A. BACKGROUND The purpose of this RFI is to conduct Market Research regarding a contracting effort to procure PATS 70-A Build-to-Print Test and Maintenance Kits for the 516?? Software Engineering Squadron (516 SWES) in their efforts to support the replacement of legacy test equipment for the E-6 Airborne Warning And Control System (AWACS). B. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall provide the requirements, as defined by the Statement of Work (SOW), for management, manufacturing, demonstration, and delivery of the E-6 PATS FQIS build-to-print cases, labels, cables, interface test adapters (ITAs), and self-test plugs.Section 1: Company Profile (please limit this section to a single page) 1. Please describe your company�s general experience providing manufacturing test equipment. 2. Describe similar services offered to the Government or to commercial customers within the past three years. 3. What current access does your company have to government-shared databases? 4. What is your business size and type (i.e., small, woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.) assuming NAICS Code 334417 � Electronic Connector Manufacturing? Section 2: Capability (please limit this section to no more than two pages) 5. What experience does your company manufacturing test equipment to DoD installations? 6. What experience does your company have with building ruggedized built to print cables? Section 3: Proposed Approach (please limit this section to a single page) 7. Would you recommend a different NAICS Code than 334417? 8. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. 9. Please provide a simple outline and schedule for this effort. 10. If subcontracting is a part of the solution, what percentage will be subcontracted? 11. Can you provide a total cost estimate for this contract? Section 4: Additional Comments/Information (please limit this section to a single page) 12. Please provide any comments/questions regarding this effort. 13. Documents will be distributed only to vendors that possess an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification and provide a current DD Form 2345.
