Description

55HP 2-stroke, gasoline, submersible, air-deployable outboard motor designed as a self-contained propulsion system for small craft applications. Engine must be qualified for CRRC airdrop configurations. Must include features such as through-hub exhaust, pull-start ignition, tiller-handle throttle control, rapid dewatering capability, rapid post-submersion operability. Engine must have an EPA 3 star on gasoline or higher. Engines must be brand new and domestically manufactured and actively managed in the DLA Federal logistics system under an established National Stock Number (NSN). With essential consumables and service accessories required to support engine break-in, fuel preparation, flushing, corrosion prevention, and long-term storage of the boat motor. Kit must include a 10-foot fuel line assembly with primer bulb, XD10-oil, universal motor flusher, fogging oil, and Salt-Away corrosion-removal concentrate with mixing unit. This kit must support the fuel-mixing, flushing, and storage practices prescribed in the owner?s manual and helps maintain readiness and service life. Service Kits for 55HP Outboard Motor that includes a thermostat ,thermostat cap gasket, anodes, spark plugs, fuel filter assembly and filter element, fuel line replacement kit, starter rope, stop switch lanyard assembly, trim tab, water pump impellers, propeller assembly and hardware, thrust rod components, throttle wire, water pump replacement kit, and cowling strap replacement kit.
