Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of Misc Automation and Communication supported Parts to support of the National Air Space System (NAS) equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul activities, a list of parts to be included is attached.[CH1] The services are required by the FAA Logistics Center, Supply Chain Team, AJW-L840. It is anticipated that multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements will be awarded to meet this requirement. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals currently. The responses will be used to develop the source list for this requirement The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor�s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the services outlined in the Statement of Work. This market survey is also being conducted to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The acquisition strategy for procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to the market survey. Only those vendors responding to this market survey will be considered for further consideration under this requirement. Responses to this market survey will be evaluated for the following: Please respond by reviewing the list of part numbers with manufactures noted. To make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: To meet FAA requirements, interested vendors must provide the following: Capability Statement: Clearly demonstrate your qualification and ability to supply the required product categories. Supply Chain & Inventory Resilience: Provide evidence of a relationship with at least three (3) OEMs from the attached list of part numbers. Include detailed information and past performance data for any part numbers listed. State the turnaround time for a quote request. Contact Information: Provide a point of contact name and number (via phone, email, or both) for inquiries. Entity Registration: Submit proof of entity registration in the System for Award Management (https://SAM.gov). Certification: Include a copy of your SBA 8(a) Certification Letter or SDVOSB eligibility certification, if applicable. Evaluation Criteria: Acceptable Rating: Capability statement including: Documentation proving the ability to provide the required part numbers. Evidence of relationships with at least three (3) OEMs from the list attached. Previous contract information for any applicable part numbers. Quote request turnaround time of 1 to 3 days. Contact name and number for questions. Proof of entity registration in SAM.gov. SBA 8(a) Certification or SDVOSB eligibility certification, if applicable. Unacceptable Rating: Failure to provide any of the following: Documentation of capability for the required part numbers. Proof of relationships with at least three (3) OEMs. Previous contract information for applicable part numbers. Quote request turnaround time of 1 to 3 days. Contact name and number for questions. Proof of entity registration in SAM.gov. SBA 8(a) Certification or SDVOSB eligibility certification, if applicable. Vendors rated as UNACCEPTABLE will not be considered further under this requirement. *Per the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), clause 3.3.1-33 System for Award Management (SAM), paragraph (b)(1) �By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.� All responses to this market survey must be received by July 9th, 2026, 2:00 p.m. CT.
