This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District to inform interested contractors of the district?s intent to issue a solicitation for the Village of Glenview Drainage and CIP Improvements, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois.PROJECT INFORMATION: This is a solicitation notice for an active Construction Project for The Village of Glenview Drainage and CIP Improvements, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois.DESCRIPTION: The work is part of a four-phase development to alleviate local flooding in the Tall Trees Subdivision. This project will include the construction of a new RCP storm sewer, new water main, and roadway reconstruction with curb and gutter rehab in public right of way (ROW) on Blackthorn Dr and Redbud Ln.CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 South LaSalle Street, Suite 1500, Chicago IL 60604ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237110, (Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities), with a small business size standard in dollars of $45.0 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation package is planned for advertisement during the fourth (4th) quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 25.The solicitation will be downloadable from the internet only. The project specification files are PDF files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the package is released into advertisement at this website, interested bidders may download the full package, which includes- specification and drawing files.For Construction: FAR 36.211 (b) (1).
