Description

This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract in accordance with the acquisition of commercial products and commercial services under the simplified acquisition threshold pursuant to Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 12.102, Restricting Competition. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) on behalf of the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) hereby issues this notice of intent to award a sole source contract to IPVM 3713 Linden St., Suite B., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Background The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) requires participation in IPVM, Research subscription to access trusted, technically rigorous evaluations and market intelligence needed to inform responder focused assessments and technology guidance. This ready access to curated, in-depth evaluations and market intelligence will directly support the National Urban Security Technology Laboratory�s (NUSTL) role in providing Federal, State, Local, Tribal and Territorial agencies with impartial consumer product information on physical security technologies, video analytics platforms, body worn cameras and mission critical efforts for public safety. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base year and (3) 12-month option years. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. This is a notice of the intent to award a sole source contract. It is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. Any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. All questions and/or comments regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, Danette.Williams@hq.dhs.gov.
