Description
This Sources Sought notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Quotation (RFQ). Responses will be used for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by NEXCOM to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparing a response NEXCOM anticipates requiring a Contractor to provide all professional architectural and engineering (A/E) design services, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, construction, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout documentation necessary to renovate five Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) lodging buildings located at Misawa Air Base, Japan. The project consists of the design and construction required to provide HVAC systems with new high-efficiency, multi-split direct expansion (DX) electric heat pump systems serving lodging guestrooms and associated support spaces. The project shall include all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and controls modifications required to support the new HVAC systems.
