Description
Aircraft Ship Integrated Securing and Traversing (ASIST) System DDG 51 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCAD) intends to enter into a sole-source firm-fixed price BOA delivery order with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) of Ottawa K1A OS6, Canada to produce Aircraft Ship Integrated Securing and Traversing (ASIST) System shall meet the requirements of ASIST Technical Data Engineering Change Notices, Engineering Changes, Engineering Drawings, and Engineering Data for Provisioning in accordance with design criteria. In accordance with international trade agreements, the CCC will subcontract 100% of the work to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc. (INDAL) of Mississauga, ON, L5C 2V8, Canada. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 336413. INDAL has designed and developed the ASIST and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. Any responses should Reference N68335-26-R-0507.
