Description

The Kentucky Army National Guard (NGKY) intends to issue a solicitation on or around 16 June 2026, with the intent to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for Kentucky 149th IN BN Yellow Ribbon Program Event, Lodging, and Catering. This announcement is for a competitive Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with RFO FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and RFO Part 19 (Small Business). A detailed description of the work will be provided in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in the forthcoming solicitation. The period of performance will be from 8 July 2026 through 8 August 2026 and the location being requested is in Lexington, KY. The acquisition will be solicited as a competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government will only consider proposals from eligible Small Business concerns. Any proposals received from firms that are not certified Small Business concerns at the time of proposal submission will not be considered for award. The upcoming solicitation will require all offerors to have both a current National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171 self-assessment (not more than three years old) and a current Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification CMMC status (if applicable) posted in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) at the time of proposal submission. Active registration in SPRS is mandatory. Any contractor not registered in SPRS or that has not completed the NIST SP 800-171 Self Assessment and CMMC status (if applicable) will be considered non-compliant and will not be considered for award. A formal solicitation will be issued on or around 16 June 2026. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on SAM.gov through PIEE. This notice is published for informational and acquisition planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), and the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice.
