1/23/26: Posting of Amendment #1, see attached. As noted in the solicitation, the date and time deadline for receipt of questions was January 22, 2026. Your thorough review of the full solicitation packet and this Amendment #1 will provide you the information you need when submitting your offer by 3:00 pm PST on 02/02/2026. Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240BH26R0001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the construction and/or reconstruction of 180 miles of livestock range fences within the Emigrant Creek Ranger District of the Malheur National Forest (Grant and Harney Counties, Oregon) that were affected by the Falls, Whiskey and Sand Fires. The work includes but is not limited to the following: Construction of 4 strand barbed wire fence; Removal/Disposal of damaged or unusable fence; Clearing of fence-line right of way; Providing new fencing materials. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238990 The small business size standard is $19.0 Million This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. See �Attachment 1 - Solicitation Terms and Conditions� for applicable clauses, instructions, and evaluation criteria. Please note: Questions shall be submitted via email to janet.paul@usda.gov, due no later than: January 22, 2026 at 3:00 pm PST. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends, i.e. February 2, 2026 at 3:00 pm PST. Please include the solicitation name and number in the subject line of the email.
