Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance with RFO 6.103-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements�. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Reference Number is A061433. The 628th Contracting Squadron (628 CONS), 101 E. Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina (JB CHS}, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order contract under NAICS 811210 for the upgrade and installation of a Technical Services Group (TSG) 501015 X-Ray Interlock unit at 437 MXS / MXMFM. 628 CONS intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Technical Services Group, Inc. (TSG) CAGE 0P4M9. TSG is the only service provider able to upgrade their own equipment and no other approved suppliers are identified in the DLA FED LOG. Therefore, TSG is the only vendor capable of fulfilling this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement that shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
