Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources for Cranes and Hoist Inspections and Repair on Schriever SFB, CO as described below. This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not at this time seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this sources sought. The Perfromace Work Statement (PWS) is currently is draft status but some contents that should be considered are as follows: Schriever SFB has a 5-year (base plus 4 year) service requirement for Cranes and Hoists which includes, but is not limited to: the preventative maintenance, inspection / testing, troubleshooting, repair, load testing, and certification of the following equipment: Jib Crane Monorail Stacker Crane Gantry Chainfall Stacker Crane Time sensitive paragraph within the current PWS should be considered prior to showing interest: �1.2: In the event that a hoist or crane fails or malfunctions, the contractor shall respond to service calls within one (1) business day upon notification by the COR� Due to the urgency of mission requirements, the contractor shall ensure that all repair work is completed within two (2) business days unless a major repair is discovered resulting in additional repair time as stated in Paragraph 1.1.3.2.� �1.1.3.2: The contractor shall ensure all major repair work commences within two (2) days of CO approval. The contractor shall ensure that all repair work is completed within eight (8) days of its commencement.� RESPONSE INFORMATION: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than 10:00 AM MT, on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. Responses should be emailed to: joshua.stone.23@spaceforce.mil and alejandro.castellanos@spaceforce.mil. It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure their email has been received by contacting either the Contract Specialist, SSgt Joshua Stone, at 719-567-3431 or Contracting Officer, TSgt Alejandro Castellanos, at 719-567-6185. Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status, and whether or not they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written statement confirming they can comply with the Government needs as specified below. All responders to this Sources Sought Notice understand, by submitting this written statement, they are certifying they can meet ALL criteria.
