REQUEST FOR QUOTE Bureau of Land Management Colorado Valley Field Office Oak Meadows Mountain Springs Maintenance Hazardous Fuels Treatment This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #140L3726Q0108 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This RFQ is being issued as a total set-aside for small business. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. Description Quantity/Acre Unit of Issue Unit Price Total CLIN 0010 Oak Meadows/ Mountain Springs Mastication 189 Acre $ $ Description: The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Colorado Valley Field Office (CVFO) has a requirement for vegetation treatment consisting of the mastication of mixed mountain shrub vegetation across 5 units located 3-7 miles south of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Details of this requirement can be found in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and project maps. NAICS: 115310 - Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management PSC: F003 - Natural Resources/ Conservation - Forest-Range Fire Period of Performance: August 15, 2026 - August 14, 2027 Location: The Oak Meadows/ Mountain Springs project area is located in Garfield County, 3-7 miles south of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; in T. 6 S., R. 89 W., secs. 18, 19 & 30, and T. 7 S., R. 89 W., sec. 15 & 16, 6th P.M. ______________________________________________________________________________ The BLM intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this RFQ using the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection method. In order to be considered technically acceptable, the vendor must demonstrate technical capability and capacity to complete the required work in accordance with the SOW and have satisfactory past performance. In accordance with FAR Part 12 (RFO), offerors must include the following information with your quote submission: 1. Technical Capability (Ability to meet the specifications in the SOW - no longer than 5 pages). 2. Relevant Experience (2 projects ongoing or completed in the past 5 years) 3. Pricing Note: Any contractor submitting a quote must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) at the time of submission and potential award.
