Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst intends to negotiate and make an award on a sole-source basis with Firstmark Aerospace Corporation, CAGE: 3BMV1, for a Fixed-Price contract. This procurement is for QTY 1 EA of part number 2591553-901, NSN 6605-00-032-6306, Calibrator Set, Magnetic Compass for the French Ministry of Air Force (FMoAF) E-2C aircraft. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements� for this action. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
