Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) located in Alexandria, Virginia intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This sole source requirement is to award a firm fixed price contract for the OmniPage Capture Software Development Kit for a Linux license. The period of performance will include a one year base period and up to two option periods. Intended Awardee: Kofax, Inc. UEI: M8WMMVN6EWB5 15211 Laguna Canyon Road Irvine, California 82618-3146 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 513210 Software Publisher. The NAICS Size is $47.0 Million. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement no longer than five pages in length, which will be considered by the Government. Capability statements must be emailed by no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday June 03, 2026. Capability statements shall be submitted to the following individuals: Whitney Lee, Contracting Officer, Whitney.Lee@uspto.gov, David Hill, Contract Specialist, david.hill@uspto.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
