Description
CHUPADERA MOUNTAIN THINNING 2026, BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, SOCORRO FIELD OFFICE, SOCORRO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and attachments constitute the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Consider this solicitation (140L3726Q0069) as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal acquisition Circular 2019-03. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. NAICS 115310 - Support Activities for Forestry - Fuels Management Services. The small business size standard is $34.0 million. Product Service Code F014 - Natural Resources / Conservation - Tree Thinning. The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type purchase order. (SEE ATTACHMENT 140L3726Q0069 - RFQ PACKAGE FOR COMPLETE STATEMENT OF WORK, MAPS, WAGE DETERMINATIONS, AND CLAUSES / PROVISIONS.) Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Socorro Field Office, Socorro County, New Mexico has a requirement to perform Manual Fuel Reduction / Thinning - Slash Management (pinyon-juniper) on a per acre basis with an estimated 200 acres. The project area is located on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administered lands about 15 miles south-southwest of Socorro in Socorro County, New Mexico in parts of Sections 5, 6, 7, and 8 and 30 of Township 5 South, Range 1 West (Nogal South Unit) and Sections 6 of Township 3 South, Range 1 West (Black Canyon Unit) Chupader Mountain Thinning 200 acres x $______ per acre = $________ SITE VISIT: Scheduled May 28, 2026; meet at the Socorro Field office at 9 a.m. for a briefing, then travel to the site for the field visit. Information (maps and directions) will be available through the Socorro Field Office, 901 S. Highway 85, Socorro, New Mexico at 575-835-0412. The work site is approximately a 30�45-minute drive from Socorro. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour shall contact Carlos Madril at 575-838-1281 (email: cmadril@blm.gov) at least 2 working days before the scheduled site visit and advise him of the firm's name and number of persons that will attend. In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 12, RFQ 140L3726Q0069 is available for viewing through electronic commerce via Bureau of Land Management's website at https://sam.gov. Quotes are due Monday, June 8, 2026, 3:00 p.m. MST.
