Description
This notice serves as the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard's intent to sole source the following requirement: Calibration and certified maintenance services for nine (9) Automated Precision Inc. (API) Laser Tracker Systems to include: four (4) R80 Radian Plus units, two (2) R80 Radian units, and three (3) R50 Radian units, as well as Unplanned Parts & Repair (UPP&R) support. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Automated Precision Inc. (API) (CAGE Code: 51HZ0) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and thus owns the proprietary data, software, diagnostic tools, and approved processes required to perform this certified work.
