Synopsis: J&A: extension to SP330016C5004

Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates incorporating a modification to existing Warehousing and Distribution Services Contract SP3300-16-C-5004 on a sole source basis to Logzone, Inc. The Contractor shall perform warehouse and distribution operations requirements using the DLA Distribution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/addendums, Process Manuals, DSS, and all other references as set forth in the solicitation and resultant contract. The Contractor shall provide all management, personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and any other items and/or services not provided by the Government in support of on-base and worldwide customers at DLA Distribution Albany, GA. for a four (4) month period (15 December 2020 to 15 April 2021) pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. NAICS 493110, General Warehousing and Storage Due to unanticipated acquisition process delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-16-C-5004 to allow for uninterrupted Warehousing and Distribution Services through 15 April 2021. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Logzone, Inc. is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to DLA Distribution Albany, GA. activities. The modification to current contract SP3300-16-C-5004 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. The J&A for this extension services will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
