Description
INTRODUCTION The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for small businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339112-Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing which has a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Government will use responses to this notice in formulating its acquisition strategy. Based on the responses of this notice, this requirement may be set aside for small business (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W), JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources who can provide Infusion Pump, Multitherapy in support of the Hematology/ Oncology Clinic at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. The infusion pump, multitherapy must adhere to the FULL list of salient characteristics outlined in Attachment 1. This is a one-time purchase. SUBMISSION DETAILS The Government will not review general capability statements, please ensure submissions are tailored to this requirement and information requested in the attached salient characteristics. The Government requests capabilities statements be submitted electronically in PDF or MS Word format. Offeror's responses shall not exceed ten (10) pages single-sided - standard 8 � X 11 pages using not less than 10-pitch font -- and shall describe the offerors technical expertise in sufficient detail to make an informed determination of the offerors ability to successfully provide the products/systems listed in the salient characteristics. This is not a solicitation. This information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. DO NOT SUBMIT CLASSIFIED MATERIAL. Interested Offerors are asked to answer the following questions and submit the following information with their capability statement: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code.
