Solicitation N0042126Q1146 is issued as a brand name procurement. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis for SuperMicro under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by (FAR) Part 8.405-6 (b)(1). Must be an authorized distributor/reseller of SuperMicro and must include a letter of authorization confirming reseller status. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov. ANSWER: THIS IS FOR A 1 YEAR POP THAT BEGINS ON DATE OF AWARD AND LASTS FOR 12 MONTHS. THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT OWN THE SHRED BINS- THEY BINS ARE TO BE REMOVED AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE REQUIREMENT. 2. Do these containers have wheels or are they the box size? ANSWER: The vendor will have to empty the containers on site, so for their benefit, it would be better that they have wheels if possible.
