Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Chemical Vegetation Control Services, Franklin Falls Dam, Franklin, NH. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, permits, and equipment necessary to perform chemical vegetation control within the Franklin Falls Dam flood control project area. Base Treatment Area No.1 requires herbicide treatment to all vegetation less than 3-inch diameter at breast height (DBH) at parking areas, in front of garages and along walkways as shown on Informational Map 1, totaling approximately 1.15 acres. Base treatment area No. 2 requires herbicide treatment to all non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees less than 3-inch DBH as shown on Informational Map 2, totaling approximately 3.1 acres. Base treatment area No. 3 requires herbicide treatment to all non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees less than 3-inch DBH as shown on Informational Map 3, totaling approximately 22.5 acres. Option Treatment Area No. 1 requires herbicide treatment to all non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees less than 3-inch DBH as shown on Informational Map 3 totaling approximately 44.4 acres. Option Treatment Area No. 2 requires herbicide treatment to all woody vegetation less than 3-inch DBH within 10 feet of each side of the woods road edges as shown on Informational Map 4, totaling approximately 6.2 miles in length (15.03 acres). Non-native invasive plants/shrubs/trees are to be considered any plant/shrub/tree that is not native and is invasive to New Hampshire. The areas to be treated include but are not limited to wooded areas, open fields, and roadway edges, around Franklin Falls Dam. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
