Description

Dear Industry Partners, The U.S. Army Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Europe is currently conducting market research to identify capable commercial sources, manufacturers, and authorized dealers for an upcoming procurement of commercial trailers. This requirement is to support the 6966th Transportation Truck Terminal (TTT) in providing Common User Land Transportation (CULT) within the European theater. RCO Europe is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number W564KV26QA067 to obtain market feedback on the requirements and delivery feasibility. Requirement Summary: The Government intends to procure fourteen (14) standard European-specification commercial trailers with factory-standard ADR EX II/EX III compliance (Hazardous Materials/Munitions transport certification) under a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The trailer types are: CLIN 0001: Flatbed Trailers (Qty: 4) CLIN 0002: Rollerized Box Trailers (Qty: 4) CLIN 0003: Curtainsider Trailers (Qty: 4) CLIN 0004: Lowbed Trailers, Type 2 (Qty: 1) CLIN 0005: Lowbed Trailers, Type 3 (Qty: 1) Questions for Industry Response: We kindly request that interested vendors reply to this email with answers to the following questions: Participation Interest: Would your company be interested in participating and submitting a quote in this forthcoming solicitation? Draft Purchase Description Feedback: Are there any questions, technical concerns, or commercial issues with the Draft Purchase Description (see attachment) or the general solicitation framework? Delivery Feasibility: The customer has an estimated delivery lead time of six (6) months from the contract award date. Is this delivery time feasible? If not, what is your recommended delivery lead time? Please provide a brief explanation if additional time is required.
