Synopsis ACTION CODE: Pre-Solicitation Synopsis DATE: 02 JUNE YEAR: 2026 CONTRACTING OFFICE ZIP CODE: 35898 NAICS CODE: 336413 CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (W58RGZ) ATTN: CCAM-AVA-B, Building 5303, Martin Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 (US) SUBJECT: Synopsis for OVERHAUL/UPGRADE OF THE GEARBOX, ASSEMBLY SOLICITATION NUMBER: W58RGZ-26-R-0006 CLOSING RESPONSE DATE: 17 JUNE 2026 CONTRACTING OFFICER: Edward Peterson, email: edward.a.peterson4.civ@army.mil DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to provide the overhaul and upgrade of the following assets: NOMENCLATURE: GEARBOX, ASSEMBLY, INPUT NSN: 1615-01-690-3426 P/N: 70358-06600-053 INPUT NSN: 1615-01-545-0883 P/N: 70358-06600-048 Output NSN: 1615-01-690-3426 70358-06600-053 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: min/max 30/180, US QTY 150, (FMS QTY 30) The proposed contractual action will result in a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), 5- year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) overhaul contract, with the quantity listed above. These items are NOT commercial items; FAR Part 12 will NOT be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. This NSN is listed as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This procurement is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Inc. CAGE: 78286) as they are the only Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) approved source. The listed contractor is also the only source that has the technical data necessary to perform this acquisition. There is a DMWR for this requirement, 1-1615-279. If your company is interested in becoming an approved source for this item, it must submit a request to the Systems Readiness Directorate to become an approved source. Information on the process to become an approved source is located at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR-Guidance/. All SAR requests should be sent to the ALC SAR Inbox usarmy.redstone.amcom.mbx.alc-sarreq@army.mil and then ALC will work with the vendor on what is needed. To obtain Army Regulations, Technical Manuals, and Technical Bulletins, the following website is provided for your convenience: https://armypubs.army.mil/. To obtain Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs) and Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEOs), provide your current DD 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement obtained from the Defense Logistics Agency's Joint Certification Program (JCP) and all attachments to the following email address, email: usarmy.redstone.amcom.list.immc-pub-epco@army.mil, along with a printout of your current Cyber Security Maturation Model Certification (CMMC) certification in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) module which shows that you have the same level or higher required by this solicitation in DFARS Provision 252.204-7025. The CMMC level must be at least CMMC level 2 self assessment Firms that recognize and can work on the required item described above and are SRD approved sources, are encouraged to identify themselves. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The solicitation will not be issued prior to the closing date stated above. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Contractor�s Facility SET ASIDE STATUS: NONE The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depending on the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. The solicitation will only be sent to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Inc. CAGE: 78286, as it is the only SRD approved source for this requirement.
