Description
The United States Government has a requirement for Contractor Operated Primary Training - Rotary (COPT-R) to provide primary flight training to designated Rotary-Wing Naval Flight Students (NFS) from Training Air Wing FIVE (TW-5). Students will be instructed in a class not to exceed 8 students with the goal of receiving training that meets FAA Private Pilot requirements (Helicopter) as outlined in CFR Part 61.102 through 61.120 with the following exception to 61.109 (c)(4): students will receive one solo flight experience and there is no requirement for solo cross-country time. This training will be conducted under the Contractors 14 CFR Part 141 and/or Part 142 certification. The Government is requesting L-2 Question and answers to be completed and submitted by 5:00 PM EST 05 November 2025.***Request for Proposal Amendment 001 released 07 November 2025***--The purpose of this amendment is to: Correct the date shown in Block 8 of SF-1449, Incorporate FAR clause 52.204-7 System for Award Management, Correct fill-in information on FAR clause 52.216-22 INDEFINITE QUANTITY (OCT 1995), Provide typographical corrections, Provide Government response to submitted L-1 QA forms, Provide updated PWS as a result of Government QA responses.
