Description

Sources Sought Notice: FA8575_F15_PDM (Follow-Up) The U.S. Government (USG) is issuing this follow-up Sources Sought (SS) notice for the F-15SA Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) program. Important Information Market Research Only: This is for information and planning purposes only. It is not a request for proposal and does not guarantee a future contract. Based on Your Feedback: The USG has updated the program requirements based on the industry feedback we received from the previous Sources Sought. We are now asking for a second review. Flight Safety & Facilities: Because the UIL inspection is critical for flight safety, any potential contractor must identify the existing facilities where they would perform this work if they are awarded the contract. Ongoing Questions: You can email us questions at any time. The USG will do its best to answer them and will update this Sources Sought notice if needed. Program Details First 4 Jets: The first 4 jets will be inducted under the basic contract for Validation and Verification (VAL/VER). Total Jets: The entire PDM program (basic contract plus all options) will cover a total of 145 F-15SA aircraft (82 Production and 63 Converted). This total depends on the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) funding all options and the USG choosing to exercise them. Questions and Requests for Industry Please review the attached documents and provide answers to the following questions in your response: Request / Question for Industry 1 Please review the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and provide your feedback. 2 Please review the Work Specification (WS) and provide your feedback. 3 Review the planned Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) list. Are there any missing or unnecessary items? 4 Please provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) price estimate. If the updates do not change your previous ROM, please let us know. 5 How should we address Intellectual Property (IP) in the PWS? If it shouldn't be in the PWS, how should we handle it during the formal solicitation stage? 6 What specific job positions and skill levels are needed to do this work?
