Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 4 of 4 The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-CSI-400, Replace MRI 1.5T located at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, NC. General Scope: Provide professional construction services prior to removal of current 1.5T MRI from Room 2 (FG184B) and professional construction services in preparing Room 2 (FG184B) as shown in the drawings and specifications prior to installing a new 1.5T MRI. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $45.0 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In accordance with Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.7003 (b), offerors must be registered and certified in the SBA Certification database as a SDVOSB. Only offers from certified SDVOSBs in the SBA database at the time of offer shall be deemed eligible for award. Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to issue a Invitation for Bids (IFB) and award a single, firm fixed-price contract. Solicitation material will be available on/about November 18, 2025. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) Contract Opportunities website (https://sam.gov/opportunities). The Contract Opportunities website is the only official location to obtain solicitation information and documents. Offers will be due approximately 49 days after issuance of the solicitation. Only one (1) site visit will be scheduled. Location and point(s) of contact for the site visit will be identified in the solicitation.
