Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W50S8A26QA031 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336412 Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing, a small business size standard of 1500 EMP. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business, and only qualified vendors may submit quotes. The solicitation will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 30 July 2026, 4:00PM. Eastern Time. Free On Board (FOB) Destination shall be required to 302 Newmarket St, Newington, NH 03801. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The NH Air National Guard requires the following items: CLIN 0001: KC46 Engine Exhaust and Inlet Cover Sets (QTY= 24EA) - Inlet and exhaust covers for the PW 4062-94 Engine that can be secured. Both covers need to withstand severe weather and jet blast from other aircraft taxiing. The material needs to be breathable, waterproof, hydrophobic, freeze-proof, sand and dust proof, UV resistant, scratch protection, washable, lightweight, inherently anti-static, durable and No vapor corrosion inhibitor chemicals. - Shall have a re-enforced access hole in the lower center portion of the inlet cover where we can insert/secure a heater hose to warm up valves and other components during extreme cold weather conditions. - The cover must be zipper-less, button-less and any other potential threat of FOD or material that can scratch or damage the engine or inlet. - The Inlet cover needs to be able to be installed independently but have hooks or clips on it that the exhaust cover can secure to. - Covers should be able to be installed without the use of a ladder or stand for safety purposes. - Diameters of equipment to be secured are as follows: - Engine Inlet - Outer Diameter: 100 inches - Inner Diameter: 84.5 inches - Engine Exhaust Diameter: 36.5 inches - The length from the inlet to the bypass of the engine is 136 inches, while the length from the inlet to the exhaust is 245 inches. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. If the Government responses to technical questions affect any portion of the solicitation then an Amendment of Solicitation will be issued.
