Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Spain will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The U.S. Embassy/Consulate in Madrid, Spain requires services to maintain building elevators in safe, reliable and efficient operating condition. The contract type is a firm fixed price contract for routine maintenance services paid at the monthly rate below. These rates include all costs associated with providing elevator maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer�s warranty including materials, labor, insurance (see FAR 52.228-4 and 52.228-5), overhead, profit and VAT. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be included in the solicitation. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in late January or early February 2026. The solicitation will be issued electronically on SAM.gov. No paper copies will be mailed. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain. All offerors will be required to provide proof that they already possess said permits as part of their offer.
