Description
**THIS IS THE PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED AT A LATER DATE** The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: The 76 AMXG/569 AMXS is requesting a five (5) year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for 3M 401+ masking tape. The requested equipment description/specifications are outlined below. a.Item one � Masking Tape 24mm (1 inch) x 55m (60 yards) b.Item two - Masking Tape 48mm (2 inch) x 55m (60 yards) c.Item three - Masking Tape 76mm (3 inch) x 55m (60 yards) d.Item four � Masking Tape 12mm (1/2 inch) x 55m (60 yards) All tapes listed in item two shall adhere to the following requirements: a.Tape shall adhere to SAE AMS-T-21595 (formerly MIL-T-21595). Types 1,2 b.Tape shall be single-sided and have a natural/synthetic rubber adhesive blend c.Tape backing shall be a crepe paper. d.Tape shall have an Adhesive strength of 35oz/in- 50oz/in per ASTM D3330. e.Tape shall have a minimum tensile strength of 24lb/in per ASTM D3759. f.Tape shall have a minimum elongation of 14% per ASTM D3759. g.Tape shall be capable of high temperature use and be rated for a minimum surface temperature of 249F for 30 minutes h.Tape color shall be green. Tape shall be delivered with a minimum of six (6) months of shelf life remaining. Estimated Period of Performance: 5-year BPA This is a small business set-aside System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325520 with a size standard of 550 EMP. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
