Description
Engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) 12-strand single mode (SM) fiber optic cables (FOC) from Infrastructure Transfer Building (ITB) 230 to Building (B) 9511 at Columbus AFB, MS. The Contractor shall install approximately 3,100 feet (maintenance loop included) of 12-strand SM FOC from ITB 230 to B9511. Terminate 12 strand SM FOC in the new 12-port FODP in ITB 230, and outdoor FODP in B9511. A site visit will be held on 25 May, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST. Vendors shall meet at the Main Gate Visitors Center, 108 Simler Blvd, Columbus AFB, MS, 39710. Vendors will then walk/drive to the actual site of contract performance. Vendors are encouraged to inspect the site in order to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Those wishing to participate in the site visit shall provide all information specified in the attached Base Access Procedures. Once you have reviewed the CUI Training slides, sign the CUI Safeguard document and return to both 2d Lt. Jackson Basil and A1C Logan Snodgrass. Once you have completed these items, go to the DoD Safe website and send us a request for the EAL Template.
