Description

The 97th Maintenance Squadron is requesting to procure an additional Tovey, 150 Ton load cell system capable of testing up to 300K pounds (Part Number 450A7433), compatible with COLUMBUS JACK Model: 1074-8000 Universal Tester. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to COLUMBUS JACK CORPORATION (CAGE: 00994), due to only one source being capable of providing Tovey, 150 Ton load cell system capable of testing up to 300K pounds (Part Number 450A7433), compatible with COLUMBUS JACK Model: 1074-8000 Universal Tester. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to award with a sole source under the authority of RFO 6.103-1(b). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement. Capability statements are due on 4/30/2026 by 2:30 PM CST. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to jamir.folsom@us.af.mil and scott.swain.2@us.af.mil. Capability statements and supporting documentation provided after the due date listed above will not be reviewed. Please see attached Brand Name Justification for further information.
