Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 05, Baltimore VAMC, 10 N. Greene Street, Baltimore MD 21201 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Governments intent to award a sole source contract to Veracyte, Inc. The contract is expected to be awarded due to Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per (FAR 6.302-1). The contract will be for Veracyte, Inc. to provide Genetic Biopsy Testing services for the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Veracyte, Inc. is located at 6000 Shoreline Court, Suite 300, South San Francisco, CA 94080. NAICS code: 621511, Medical Laboratories (SBA Size Standard $41.5 million). This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made based on unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Government anticipates the award of a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 05 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.
