DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 07 (NCO 7) Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR 3rd Party Fire Protection and Life Safety Reviews for the Central Alabama Veterans� Healthcare System in Montgomery, AL. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, intends on soliciting for proposals for 3rd party fire protection and life safety reviews for the Central Alabama VA Medical Center, located at 215 Perry Hill Road Montgomery, AL 36109. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13 Procedures. Request for Quote (RFQ)# 36C24726Q0443 for this effort which will be set-aside for SDVSOB only, will be posted to SAM (https://sam.gov) on or about April 10, 2026. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications and information necessary to quote the project. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541690; Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Service with a Small Business Administration size standard of $19 Million. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://sam.gov) and complete online Representations and Certifications at (https://sam.gov/) prior to submitting a quote. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business�s must be Certified by the SBA (https://search.certifications.sba.gov) to qualify for a SDVSOB Set-Aside. Quotes are tentatively scheduled to be due on April 28, 2026 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date).
