DEMOLISH TWO BUILDINGS AT CARNESTOWN CORNER OF SR29/US41 IN COLLIER COUNTY 32016 TAMIAMI TRAIL E OCHOPEE, FL 34141 The National Park Service (NPS) Big Cypress National Preserve (BICY) seeks offers from full-service demolition contractor in South Florida. Contractor must be qualified, licensed and insured as required by State and local jurisdiction. The objective is the removal of both buildings and associated structures to restore footprint of the building site to a fine graded condition. * A site visit is recommended prior to submitting an Offer. * NPS documentation and pictures of the units are for general reference only. Onsite conditions may vary. Buildings and structures to be remove off-site include: A. Sheriff Office: Building is approximately 55-year-old, is a slab on grade single story CMU structure with a low-pitched roof with roll roofing. It has a septic system and drain field. The footprint of the building is approximately 1200 SF with short sidewalks a CMU ADA entrance Ramp approximately 30LF located on the north side if the building. See Figure 5, 6, 7, and 8. B. Chamber of Commerce Building: Big Cypress National Preserve acquired the property at 32016 Tamiami Trail E in Everglade City, FL better known as the Everglades Area Chamber of Commerce (CoC). The CoC building parcel number 1135440000 covering 5.36 acres had been unused for an indeterminate amount of time and is part of the 7.3 acres NPS Tract B07-12. It is a triangle building approximately 900SF of interior space. It is mainly a single story wood building built on a raised CMU foundation. There are dilapidated wood stairs and wooden decked walkways around the building. See figure 3 and 4 C. Gazebo: this is an ancillary, slab on grade, pole structure located just West of the COC. It is approximately 400 SF. See Figure 10 D. Shed/outbuilding 14' x 8' plus chain-link fence. The above properties are no longer functional and beyond economic repair. Acquisition value is less than $350,000 simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). It is anticipated a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued as a result of this solicitation.
