Presolicitation Notice � Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source (Firm-Fixed-Price) Agency: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Mississippi Area 2 Office Action: Presolicitation Notice / Intent to Sole Source (Firm-Fixed-Price) Summary: NRCS Mississippi Area 2 Office anticipates a sole-source award to 471 Brandon Storage, LLC (1ST Stop Storage) for ten (10) climate?controlled storage units, to include units suitable for vehicle trailer storage. The storage facility must be within a 5?mile radius of the temporary field office located at 345 Keyway Dr, Flowood, MS and must provide repetitive (recurring) employee access during normal business hours (and as operationally required). This presolicitation notice is issued in accordance with the FAR Overhaul publicizing requirements for presolicitation notices and related content, and it is not a request for quotations or proposals. Anticipated Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition: FAR 12.201-1, Simplified Procedures . Place of Performance: Within 5 miles of 345 Keyway Dr, Flowood, MS Minimum Requirements (Salient Characteristics): Quantity: Ten (10) storage units. Use Cases: General storage plus units specifically capable of vehicle trailer storage (1-10X24X8, 3-10X20X8,2-10X15X8,1-10X25X8,2-10X20X8,1-10X10X8,). Environment: Climate?controlled units suitable for sensitive equipment/materials. Access: Repetitive (recurring) access by NRCS personnel; secure access controls; hours consistent with mission needs. Proximity: Facility must be within a 5?mile radius of 345 Keyway Dr, Flowood, MS. Safety/Security: Facility must meet standard commercial safety/security practices (e.g., lighting, security cameras, and gated access) and provide routine maintenance of units and common areas. NAICS: 493110 � General Warehousing and Storage. (Industry comprises establishments operating merchandise warehousing/storage facilities; excludes self?storage classified under NAICS 531130.)
